What is Biofilm?
Biofilm is a gluey-slimy secretion produced by a colony
of different species of bacteria known as a "biofilm community".
This biofilm community thrives in aqueous environments and
adheres to many different types of surfaces such as tissue and
metal. A biofilm community is unique, in that, it's strength is
derived from a synergy of all the living bacteria within it.
It's behavioral characteristic is that of a single bacteria.
